Those are my FIRST ever top down pics Charlie! (At least I think so...)
Did you build yourself a box? They look awful good.![]()

Nope, just slid the canopy forward a bit, opened up the top, and shot into the water. No box. I don't think I have room for a box either. Unless I replace my canopy with a fixture, actinic only is going to be my only option.
Well, I gotta tell ya, cap corner is looking pretty good from either side you look at it.

Thanks Charlie! Those things are CRAZY fast growers, that is why I put most of them up there. I have my Tyree flower petal cap in a different spot, but it may get moved up to the corner sooner or later.
Well, if you stopped pumping calcium into their veins, they wouldn't grow so fast.![]()

Last set is really good, Mike. First is my favorite by far, though.![]()
Kind regards,
Gene.

LOL!!! Ya, I guess that would slow them down some.
Thanks Gene, it is mine too! I wish I would have taken these before I fragged today. I sold a couple of frag packs, and the green cap was a nice circle all the way around the bottom edge.
The weird thing is this tank has more flow in GPH then it ever has, but these caps are growing VERY thin. That green cap was especially fragile, as compared to the purple rim, or especially the red cap I used to have, the red was CRAZY thick and strong.
Here is a thought, you said fast growing right? Maybe they are growing fast, but not thick like you said your red one was. Just a thought????

Ya, that makes sense, but WHY? I thought a strong flow would make them grow more thick rather then thin. Also, the purple rim is BEHIND the green cap away from the Vortech, and it is growing thicker....
You got me there. Keep in touch with the folks you sold them too and find out what happens with them in the next 8 months or so.

Yall don't want none of my flourescent anemone pictures. ;;
I think that would be GREAT Scott, maybe we can name them something fancy, and you can sell them off as a "Limited Edition"!
Post them up Scott, I will give a shot a naming them, ask Mike.

Ya, Charlie can come up with some hum dingers....
Limited Edition, Show Size Aiptasia; might be onto something there. That's ok though, Scott is getting the itch back now that it's getting cold and planning for some work on our tank. Tired of a mediocre setup...

If Scott is getting the itch back, tell him to stop playing with the aiptasia.
I can't think of anything that rhymes with aiptasia![]()
