OK guys, summer is over and I want to see you all get cracking with the camera... I'm tired of being the only one posting pictures on this forum... :eek3:
How about some fluorescence shots, got any? If you do please add them here in this thread.
I'll post first and I want to see at least a few more by tomorrow morning.., or else...
Here goes nothing!
PS.I edited my opening post to change resolution of the images. Smaller versions just wasn't doing it justice.
Kind regards,
Gene.

Thanks Eric! The coral in the first picture is Favia sp., just a tad different color morph is all. I've been looking for a piece small enough to keep in my small tank and finally found it a while ago.
Charlie, nice pixies my friend...
Mike, I'm looking forward to your contribution... ;)
Kind regards,
Gene.

Thanks Charlie!
That is my "Crayola Acro". I'm hoping that it encrusts that rock to the left of the frag plug, then I will use a dremel to cut the plug from the colony.
Wow, crayolas never had that much hair when I was a kid!!!!!! That is a beauty!!!

Hey Charlie,
It really does look good under actinics. The interesting part about this coral is it's changing of the coloration. When I first got it it was sort of tan color, and without any colorful tips. Today the tentacles are more green and there are purplish tips as well. It also grew a bit in the skeleton size, which surprised me.
Kind regards,
Gene.

I would have to assume the coloration change is due to the lighting it is under. It is either that, or it is maturing and starting to really adjust to your tank conditions. It is impossible to tell how old these specimens are when we get them, and since I have never had one of these that survived, (2), I really don't know.
The skeletal growth is a good sign, isn't it????
