Question

Hey Mike,
I have got a question for you, when I look thru the viewfinder, and press the shutter halfway down trying to focus, everything is really fuzzy, but if I take the pic, it turns out clear???? Is there something that needs cleaning on my camera? I noticed this on my way back from Colorado, nothing looked focused thru the finder, but all the pics turned out. I am lost?????

It could be the built in diopter correction Charlie. Is there a little wheel next to the viewfinder with a +/- next to it? If so, that should be in the middle, usually there is a little dash or mark to denote the center spot.

OR, it could be that the viewfinder glass is just dirty... ;)

That is exactly what it was, that little wheel. I waited about 45 minutes, and then Lorie suggested that I call the local camera shop.....DOH!!!!!!!

I don't know how it got unadjusted, but it is back adjusted for my eyes now!! Thanx for the help though, I did learn something today.
