It is very pretty though Charlie, I have sunshine today too..... but no where NEAR that much SNOW!
I don't think we have had this much snow since 96-97 Mike. It is pretty crazy here. I was out driving around yesterday during the storm, some people have NO CLUE!!!!! They didn't plow the road I live on until about 3PM![]()

-8 up there? We only are at 11. The lake helps moderate things a lot. I called in yesterday - didn't want to mess with the snow and morons on the road. The morons bother me more than the snow.
I think we all know what you mean by morons. You were just being nice.
;););)
We were just out of power for 2 hours. I thank God and Home Depot for generators.

LOL!! Home Depot does come in handy for sure.
I like days when we get HUGE snow, I hop in the Jeep and drive, while I watch the idiots in cars spin all over the place! ;)
Check this out:
...Winter Storm Watch in effect from late Sunday night through
Monday evening for the Flathead Valley from Flathead Lake north...
The National Weather Service in Missoula has issued a Winter
Storm Watch...which is in effect from late Sunday night through
Monday evening.
Snowfall will increase and intensify overnight Sunday night into
early Monday and continue through early evening Monday. Snowfall
accumulations of 6 to 11 inches are possible by Monday evening in
the Flathead Valley...locally up to 12 inches from Big Fork to
Columbia Falls. The Mission Valley will lighter snow amounts of 2
to 5 inches. Local gusty southwest winds may cause areas of
blowing and drifting snow Monday afternoon.
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow...sleet...or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.

Got the roof of the house shoveled off today, and cleared out all of the house vents up there. You saw the forecast for tomorrow and Tuesday, so here we go again!!!

Charlie- Looks like you folks have gotten the brunt of the heavy snow. We have a partially melted 14" compressed down to about 6-8" that has mostly slid off of our roof (gotta love metal the metal roof). Just don't stand underneath the eve when it lets go! We have wild turkeys here that flee to the trees when we come home. Sometimes they try to fly over the house from a near-by tree and do a face plant in the snow on the roof....the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. He ran up over the peak of the roof, looked around to see if he got caught & took off the other side (down hill). We took all of the boys skiing today (X-Country) for the first time. Kuba & Girma figured it out finally....they don't ski in Ethiopia...go figure.

More coming in now. Advisories all over. My car is around the corner on a snowbank. I am going to hibernate for the rest of the week.
Nice... We don't have that much snow up here in Canada... Nice sunny day today. Hasn't snowed for a week.
Man... I don't think I have ever had to shovel the roof Charlie! Looks like Lostcreekreefer has the right idea with a metal roof.... Except for maybe in a hail storm! ;)
Mike, that is the only time I have ever had to shovel any roof, and I have been around here for 34 years!!!!
