    Dsc-h2

Hi Gene. Started a thread here on my camera instead. Yes, your link is correct. Thats my camera. I will be getting a tripod soon. I dont think its that type of blurry problem though, so much as out of focas. I tdid try with the zoom in macro just to see the difference. Guess I have lots more reading to do.

    Doug,

I think your camera has like 12x optical zoom (that's alot) but I would only go just a bit if you need to reach closer to the polyp by the back of the tank. I would never use that digital zoom, though.
Your camera is also has manual focus mode, so I suggest you get familiar with that because it help a lot. You want to control the focus point not the camera...
You definitely need to get very familiar with the manual and take gazillion shots for practice to get a handle on that macro setting. ;)
    Kind regards,

    Gene.

So lots of manual focus reading to do.

Here is a couple I took up north. I was playing in my Corel photo album with the birdie.

    Hey Doug,

    These are real nice!
Manual focusing is really helpful when shooting macro work, for everything else I stick with the auto focus. I haven't held p&s camera in my hands for few years, so, it;s hard for me to even imagine what it feels like focusing via screen. Although, at times I wish my camera had this feature, especially when shooting top down.
    Kind regards,

    Gene.
