clam tanks
I've seen a few people who have set up clam tanks and almost immediately have clams in there. I understand some may be hooked up to an established tank, but some aren't. How is this made safe for the clams??

FWIW, when I set up my 75g tank I used all live sand and cured LR. I never had cycle or anything. Not even cyano outbreaks,nothing... had fish and corals in it after 3 days. I think the live sand did it for me, and cured LR ofcourse.
