That' s the worst tank I've ever seen.
But come to think of it , it's not bad.
As a matter of fact it looks pretty good. No, wait a minute , that tank looks REALLY GOOD

Kevin,

Happy Fathers day and yes, I enjoyed this pic alot Your lights are so bright i think it is hard to take a shot that is not overexposed, but it does not matter-the tank ROCKS. You are lucky that I live in NJ, I would've raided that tank alot
I forgot how high your tank is,seems like you don't have that much rock and the corals have plenty of room to grow upwords, where in my tank it's the darn rock wall and so high.... time to remove some I think

Hi Mike there's around 30 or so I loose track because when I get too close to the tank they school up like they're starving begging for food.

Kevin

I do have it on concrete. I estimate the total weight to be over 7,000 lbs.

Chuck,
You are always welcome and I have a spare room I think I could put you to work fragging and gluing for hours and hours Since I haven't been cutting anything for the LFS here in town it's pretty much grown into one large colony 8'x3'

Regards,
Kevin
PS: Very glad to hear you are making progress with your tank!

I am not able to get a reading (using Salifert test). I run a 112 gal refugium growing 7 types of macro algae in it. I also have some large Tridacna sp. clams that help too, along with 800 lbs of live rock and 850 lbs of sand.

Regards,
Kevin

All you have to do is travel to Spokane and work in Kevins LFS for a month or two and the hints are free

I'm planning to do it soon

Gene,
As long as you work for frags come on down

Oceanreef,
It really depends on what your plan is for your tank. If it's for a SPS tank it's pretty easy lots of light, waterflow (sweeping or surge current), calcium, and alkalinity. That's about all I do. If you have specific questions I would be glad to help.

Regards,
Kevin
