Hello everyone,

It's taken me a while, but I fanally built the stand for my 90 gallon. I still have to build the light hood, buy the sump tank, lights, sand, and do some miscellaneous plumbing. I hope to have it up and running by the end of next month.

That is very interesting, the way that you have the doors reaching the floor. Are there any inside supports that will prevent the "legs" from bowing out from the weight?

Also what are you going to do about draining water from the tank to the sump, since you mentioned getting a sump?

I've got bracing inside the stand and on the bottom behind the doors so the weight of the tank won't push the doors into the floor. I've drilled a hole in the back right hand side and have installed a screened bulkhead. I'm going to have a 15 gal sump under the tank complete with a Supreme Mag Drive pump, prizm skimmer, bio-balls, and crushed live rock. I might drill another hole on the back left side for the water return from the sump, or I'll just use a flex hose with an elbow at the end and run it back in through the top.
