LFS Reccommendations for Calgary & Edmonton Alberta Canada

Hi,

I'll be visiting some friends in Calgary & Edmonton in August and I was wondering what stores you can recommend to visit in these Cities? I'm looking for both saltwater (fish & corals) & freshwater (ie plants).

I go to Calgary quite often for my fish and fish supplies (I'm from Lethbridge, Alberta... 2 hrs south of Calgary). I recommend going to Pices Pet Emporium; their located in the NE part of the city. I wouldn't go to Big Al's. Their tanks are always dirty and their staff don't seem to know much about anything. I bought my Live Rock from Big Al's, and the person helping me said that adding calcium to the water was not necessary for the rock to grow! They do have a good selection of products, however. If your ever in the Lethbridge area, you should also check out Dino's Pets. They have a pretty good selection of fish, but no products. Good Luck!
