Seachem - Calcium has Phosphates???
I heard a possible rumor that Seachem Reef calcium in the liquid form (you know the brown stuff) contains some phospahtes. Is that possible? The label says phosphate fre. I have been using it for few years now. I have some algea growth (very litle on the back onm the tank) that I just cannot get rid off.
Nitrates are less than 10 and phosphate levels are unmeasurable, but the hair algea keeps growing. Someone at a local petshop told me that it contains phosphates becuse it is polygtluconate. I heard Instant Ocean has phasphates too, but when I test teh water it comes up negative. Does anyone have any info on any of the two issues? Thanks |
