Show me some Lawnmower Blenny Picts

Anyone have any pictures of their lawnmower blennies? If so I would like to see them if I can.

I have heard that these guys are great algae cleaners. Will they also consume macroalgaes or just the green hair like algaes? And do they disturb the sandbed?

    Thanks,
    CaptK

I have three different types of Macros in my 90 and have never observed the lawnmower (named not so creatively - SNAPPER) messing with any of them. Snapper is kind of smalish so he does not disturb the sand bed much, but he does "land" on it from time to time.

Although not colorful, this is a great, fun fish IMO. A real character who become tame fairly fast.

I have a 4 week old tank just cycling. I put this little guy in the tank and he has wiped out any visible coralline on had on the rocks in a week. He eats the rock right down to the white subsurface. There a places on the rock he can not reach so hopefully as the tank ages the coraline will be able to out pace his hunger. The rock he is on was covered with red coraline before he started on it.
