new xm lights from hellolights...

got my new lights from them friday.... heres some pics.

i finally got pickling lime... ive looking for it forever..

The bulbs look to give a nice crisp white and really give the corals some great looking color with out a ton of blue.

Man that is enough pickling lime to pickle your whole nieghborhood.

Is it 250w xm 10000k bulb?

Do you think xm is better than USHIO?

the bulbs are xm 20000k 250watt. im pretty happy with them since they are bluer then my old ushios.. im giving them a month before i lay judgment.

I have 1 XM 20K 400 watter and am testing it out against my radiums. So far I think it is a bit whiter than the radiums which I am liking right now. Not a bad price for the bulbs either

Well, my XM bulbs been on for about three weeks now and I'm beginning to like them.They not really as blue anymore and I just have to install couple of Aquasun VHO bulbs instead of actinincs and I'll be good to go

try the atinic whites..... im changing out the aqua suns since they are really pink. and as the bulbs whiten up it gets even more pink with the halides on. i think the atinic whites are the way to go..

i do like them however.there being problem attic. they are growing so fast im having to frag them and only them to keep them from swallowing other corals..
