Supplements
I dose my reef with phytoplankton and Coral-Life Reef Energizer every other day, and Tropic Marin Bio-Calcium weekly.
Is there anything more I should be using? I realize the tank inhabitants make a difference, I'm just talking overall nutrition. ![]() |

Hey MasterBlaster!
Personally, I only dose a 2 part additive for ALK and CA as far as supplemtents. Adding other supplements such as Strontium or Iodine can cause more damage than they are worth and typically those additions are made through feedings so I don't mess with them. Keep your ALK and CA at good levels and stay away from the rest IMO. Adding phytoplankton is a good idea for some of your inhibitants; as with other foods just don't over do it which will lead to other problems. ![]() Regards, Scott Z. |
