And...,the last one for this thread. I thought it was interesting the way this coco worm is still persisting even when green polyps are trying to smother him.I think it's about 1.5yrs since I place it in my tank.

Ohhh,Ahhh!!! Great shots and gorgeous subjects,Barry. Did you get those from Darren? Very, very cool ricordeas.

PS. Do you have them in the tank with clams? I'm thinking when I finally get that clam tank running,I'll have to give Darren a call.It should look really sweet with clams, ricordeas and maybe some colorfull zoanthids
What do you think?

Those are some NICE ricordea, Barry.

What kind of SPS is DSCN1726 Gene (the 3rd one in the post from yesterday)??

I just moved last weekend (groan!) and I'm already plotting where I can add tanks in my new apt. Seeing those pics makes me think I may need to add more than one.

Great pic,Barry! Gives me exellent idea on how I can set up my clam tank, especially on what I can put in the tank. I really thought about just puting some of the SPS frags that I always manage to break off during cleaning in my 75 but I think the flow that is required to grow them is a bit to harsh for the clams.Ricordea and zoanthids should be just fine then
Here's a pic of the cleaning crew hard at work on my return pipe.

Good morning,Rebecca

Moving is a PAIN of major proportions for sure but I'm glad that you're over it and thinking about the good points, like "how many tanks can I fit in this thing?"

The third pic from yesterday is DSCN 1716,I think, and if that is correct then my answer would be-I haven't got a clue I have listed it as Acropora sp.. I had two colonies of this Acropora and both had purple tips and both had those dreaded red bugs on them. Sadly,I have to report that one of them had died and this one seems to be OK and had encrusted the rock adjacent to it and keeps growing, albeit slowly. Also, I'm not sure if the red bugs were the cause of the colony death or not so I leave it at that.

Seeing those pics makes me think I may need to add more than one.

Are you sugesting that we stop posting those pics ,'couse we won't

I don't have that much flow in my clam tank and the ricordea seem to be doing well.

I don't think Ricordea or zoa's need that much flow at all so it will be a good choice for my clam tank,I think.Providing that they do not cover all the rocks,of course.

YEP that's the one! it's pretty cool. And I HATE to move. But the new place has several advantages over the old. It's on the 1st floor, not the 3rd and the electrical is not circa 1970!

And I would NEVER suggest you guys stop posting pics. I love 'em too much. But they DO make a girl think: "hmmm... I'd like one of those.... and one of THOSE..."

And here's a pic that I took of my Chelmon rostratus today. He finally is accepting the idea that I'm not going away anytime soon and sometimes I bring some goodies for him to eat, like live brine shrimp that I bought for him today...you should have seen him chasing them down...it was a riot
