Clam Pics and just some September pics :)

Hiya's. I'm sorry if these aren't the best pics since its taken with a Kodak 1 megapixel camera. I really need to shop for a new camera. Anyway, here's some shots of some inhabitants in my 75 gallon. Clams and some new frags from patrick monaghan.

5 clams, 2 Squamosas and 3 Gold Maximas. A 6th clam is not with this gang

    The 6th clam, a Squamosa.

Right tot he left of the clam grouping: Gold Maxima, Bubble Coral, Red Lobo, and you can just make out my Green Open Brain

A different Squamosa shot. The 3 Squamosas are 3+ inches, and the 3 Gold maximas are about 2.5"+

    Two Gold maximas ;)

Green-striped Mushroom and an Orange Linkia. The linkia is going on its 4th week in the tank. Lookin good so far.

Green Open Brain shot amidst the coralline and slight algae speckles.

Just a coral grouping. The 2 acroporas in the middle, 1 millepora and 1 tricolour are new frags from Patrick.

Another shot, but with another frag from Patrick. It's huge, looks like a small colony of a different tricolour.

Central Blueish/lavendar Acropora sp. also from Patrick.

I tried to get a nice shot of my pair of maroons in their Rose Bubble Tip....but well i can't really set the shutter speed or anything in this crappy cam

and last one for now, the brownish/purple acro sp is also from patrick. It's got small yellow polyps i think.

Great pics,Elmo I like your clams, fwiw I have special feelings for the gold maximas, don't know why but I like them more then any other colors

    Thanks for sharing them.

PS. Couldn't help but notice your lovely Valonia. I have discovered once a single ball of Valonia the size of a ping-pong ball in the back of my 75g tank, I removed it but couldn't help laughing at the shear size of it

Yeah i have three of them right by the Rose anemone. The big ones seem to be a lot easier to pick off whole than the smaller ones. I dont like taking chances of them releasing spores...

I see some in the back of my tank as well, so i might just have to get my arms wet again ;)

I've noticed it from time to time. HOwever, most of the time, it does not display the bulbous tips. MOre of a long string.
