Thanks Gene

Installed the AM 4700 today. Definately more flow ... works great but noisier than the 3000 for sure. I wonder if I can tolerate the noise in the long run? Time will tell

I feed mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, all that is algae in the tank , some nori ...

And the ampmaster 4700 is off the tank ... the 3000 is back on ... too noisy for the living room and put off too much heat, the chiller wasn't keeping up with the heat addition

Chuck,

He's a looker, that' s for sure!

Does he chase your copperband?

I unfortunately lost my copperband during my tank problems , so I guess the technical answer to your question is, no, the tang doesn't chase down my copperband ....

Maybe one day again I will give a copperband a try, but for now I am happy with the few fish that I do have

That is a very beautiful Purple tang. I really like the lines patern. Some of the Purple tang I see only have lines on the front, none on the rear 2/3 of the fish.
Chuck, It is a very healthy and beautiful fish. What is the size of the king of your tank?

Thanks Minh ... the tang is about 3" nose to tail right along with my mama clown ... so they are very comparable in size
