Talking Enough water movement???

I have a 46g tank and an aquaclear powerhead with a 175gph rating. I also have two skimmers on it with maxijets with 295 gph each. Is this enough water movement in my tank or should I add another?

1 Aquaclear rated at 175 gph
2 Maxijet rated at 295 gph each
Total of 765 gph

I have a FOWLR for now and plan on moving to reef in the future.

i had almost the same setup i added 2 via aqua480 powerheads just for flow they are cheap and i have had no problems with them 200gph each they are easy to aim so you can target locations that need more current without disturbing others for the most part

Hi sestrada and madman19710, Welcome to Reefland!

Current is extremely important obviously but the amount really depends on your animals. For a FOWLR, I would say your fine but if adding some corals, I would add some current. How much is going to depend on what type of corals you plan to keep but more current won't hurt any of them. It's important to make sure you have enough current so detritus won't build up on them which will lead to dissue decay.
