Need help on some "biodiversty thinking" for a 10g tank
The the tank will be a standard 10g, lighted by 96 watt p.c.s. a whisper power filter for circulation and some type of small powerhead that I haven't decided on.
I mainly want this tank for an anenome and clownfish pair. But I'm trying to find a few inverts which could live with a BTA. I love crabs and shrimp but I do know that these aren't always the best for anenomes. Could I keep these with a BTA and either a perc or clarkii pair of clownfish? 5 red legged hermits 1 emerald crab or sally lightfoot 3 various snails I'm most worried about the emeriald crab, would the addition of the clowns defending the anenome help my chances of the crab not taking a bite out of the BTA? |

A 10 gall tank is going to be pretty small for a bta. They grow pretty fast and get pretty large. You may want to consider a 20 gall would be a better choice or even a 29. Be carefull with powerheads and powerfilters as both can suck up the anemone should it wander into either.
YOu will probably need more snails than 3 the rest sounds good. |
