Some New Pictures

our tank is looking so good today, maybe because of the new skimmer, maybe because it just is; either way I wanted to post up some new pictures.

A. formosa

A. yongei

A. millepora

M. digita

I was looking at some old pictures and you can really tell some growth on the corals; it is great to see and feels good!

Thanks Barry! I can't wait until my rocks are covered with that purple corraline like yours! I can already see some color starting to develop on teh rock work, just going to take time and calcium.

I have never had a hard time in getting the coralline to grow. I could always scrape some off and sent it to you.

Thanks for the offer Barry! I have a lot of corraline growing, it'll just be a matter of time before it covers the rocks.

I know Scott is probably either gone to work or still sleeping
But here you go Poseidon http://www.reefland.com/forum/showth...2887#post72887

Scott, looking better and better every day,my friend
Don't worry too much about the rock,it'll be purple soon enough.Like you've said, lots of calcium and it likes current as well. For instance,if you direct one of your PH on the glass you'll see a coralline growth like you've never seen before. I have to scrape my glass a lot becouse i have PH's pointing at the glass and bouncing back in the tank. Also,I noticed that elevated alkalinity levels(12-14dkh) contribute to coralline growth as well.
