zooanthid and light??
i was wondering... exactly how much light zoos or shrooms need. i overall feel that they are low light creatures..
is it true? or does the coloration of the creatures determine how much light they need?.. thanks.. does it affect color morph in zoos? |

Zoos can be found in tide pools off the beach around here, that's pretty high light, if you ask me. IMO, they prefer higher lighting (but will tolerate moderate lighting) and good waterflow. Shrooms, OTOH, will prefer moderate lighting or intense indirect lighting and a slower to moderate flow.

I agree with Kevin in his statement! My zoo's are under some pretty intense light and do fine. Zoo's are tough and will acclimate to most lighting conditions!
I also think colors give you some indication on light requirements! Shrooms at least in my experience like medium to high light and moderate to low current. Johnny ![]()
