Maroon Clown Pair
It sounds like you have Maroon Clowns since you mention dark color with yellow bands.
Also, I am moving your thread into the Reef Aquarium forum as you posted this in SPS Corals.

Clownfish
I am now the proud owner of a saltwater aquarium! I have been doing my homework. But there is just one question that I have! My aunt gave me her clownfish. I have no clue what it is. It is a dark brown-black with yellow bands. Then in between the yellow and black there is a thin white bands. Any help would be great!
