    Anthelia's

    Ok you guys I know I'm probably getting annyoying with all the coral questions, but when i asked b4 about my 10 gallon a couple of you said I could have soft corals...is an Anthelia something I could have, and will it just attach itself to my live rock???.....thanks for all your help guys I really appreciate it!

    Anthelia sp. are very similar to Xenia and the care requirements are just as similar. They should be tolerant to varying lighting conditions although brighter colored colonies will require more light. If your interested in the pulsing of the colony heads, you should look at pulsing Xenia as Borneman states they are more likely to pulse than Anthelia sp.

    Scott is right Anthellia grows like a weed though so be prepared to give some away later!!!

    I have too flush some down the Toili about once every 3 months... None of my LFS will take it BACK!!

    im actually in the concord area....these will be in my 10 gallon, the light isnt extreamely bright, i just wanted to get my clowns something to play with bc they look sooooooo bored

    Mine is pretty tough to kill actually.

    And my male tomato clown hosts in it constantly. I'll try to get dig up a pic or two if you'd like.

    By the way, I'm currently selling a frag of it on ebay, ends tomorrow and it's up to $36 so yes it grows like a weed, but that can certainly be a good thing!
