I have tried
it. I noticed no adverse or overly positive results. Does it do anything who knows?

Well come on guys, don't you know that this is the magic reef liquid? It don't matter what it has in it, whats important is we all know it's magical and we all use it!

Seriously though k9anna, as you can see here no one knows what this stuff really is and therefore the consensus is to not bother with it.

Regards,
Scott Z.

Or you could get some of that organic pulpy brown unhomogenized apple juice and feed that to your tank. A teaspoon a day keeps the doctor away. At least you would know what it is and the analysis might be about the same.

P.S. -- Coral Vital is included in Dr. Shimek's food and additives study but not Spectra Vital: http://www.animalnetwork.com/fish/data/foods.asp

k9anna and Ninong

Shimek even mentions Combisan in that article. Isn't that some of Weiss' witchcraft, too?

You know, if the guy would list the ingredients so we could see it isn't powdered snake blood and spider dust maybe we would give him the benifit of the doubt, right??? NOT!!!

I won a bottle of "Combo Vital", Quote - "A Synergistic Mixture of Spectra Vital and BlackPowder." Well. What is that??? Under, "Contents" it reads, "Five ounces (140 grams) of concentrated amino acid complexed biocolloids and herbal, marine and mineral extracts and enxymes." Again I ask, "What is that???"

Am I showing my stupidity??? You don't have to answer that.

Anyway, it's Halloweenie time let's pick on Mark. Oh, that's so cool.

Nope. It's a Peter Wilkens invention distributed by Julian Sprung & Danny Ramirez (Two Little Fishies).
