Tank 96 x 30 x 36???
I want to build a new tank 96x30x36 but i want to use starphire glass which is only 1/2" thick. If I temper the glass all around will the 1/2" be enough?? or must I go bigger??I will use 3/4 inch euro bracing all around the top!! I will also do 3/4" bottom

I don't know anything about glass thickness, but I will say that a tank 36" tall will be a PIA to clean/reach the bottom. Mine is 32" tall and I have to lay on top of the tank to reach the bottom.

For a 30" tall tank Interamerican uses 2 - 12mm pieces of starfire glass bonded together. 24" would be OK for 1/2" (I have a 90 gal made from 1/2" without a center brace. It bows pretty good but is 25 years or so old and still works well).
Regards, Kevin
