New soft corals
Allrighty the other week i was off venturing on the reef and grabbed a few soft corals i presume they are possibly Dendraphylia ime really not sure but i have had them previously and had overall success with them. They are a little tempremental with placement in tank requiring strong light and good current to expand. They are one off the first corals you will see walking out on the reef so they like a lot off light and prefer turbulent water i also got a few clownfish to add to my clown tanks.

Looks nice. I would never put that many tomato clowns in one tank. That's like a tank full of saltwater piranhas.

VERY pretty corals -- especially that first one. They all have amazing colors.
And your clams are still HUGE! Rebecca |

Hi!
I am wondering how those soft corals are doing? I have read that you have to feed them heavily as they don't contain zoanthellae to process carbon/food from sunlight, and are thought to subsist mainly on phytoplankton. Please let me know how they are doing, as I would like to try keeping these corals in my tank Thanks, Joshua |

Hi OV Fisherman and Welcome to Reefland!
The corals that you are thinking of putting in your tank are not recommended because no one is sure what they need to eat to survive, or how much. As pretty as they are, it is best to leave them in the ocean. ![]() Scott Z. |
