    Secert tank setup!

Hi everyone. as u all know i just got a tank and i would like to know is there any special rules we need to know about setting out the tanks...Can all corals go next to each other? Because one of my freinds said that some corals hate being toghter with each other. Is that true?

I saw some beatiful tank setouts. How do those guys do it. I jsut stack my live rocks toghter and try and make some holes.

So How do u guys set out ur tanks? pls share ur secerts with us ;)

    Stability and Space

When you pile your rock, make sure the rock is as stable as possible.

Also when stacking your rock, try to leave as much space as possible for flow around the live rock to reduce stagnant spots.

Also, most corals will sting each other, some and notoriously good at stinging and killing (Hydnophora). Also LPS corals are really good at reaching over several issues to sting SPS corals.

So try to keep plenty of growing room around your corals.

    I agree with Dave!

Also leather corals shed a slime coating from time to time which can be death of sps corals! Johnny

    Force,

Here is a list with lots and lots of reefkeeping abbreviations: http://www.ozreef.org/reference/abbreviations.html

P.S. -- And it's even from Oz, too!
