Thank You, I have had it for almost 1 month. It's about 2.5 inches. The pattern and coloration on this clam is nice.

Nice Squammy! I bought one that looked almost like yours a couple yrs ago. He is now about 6.5" and has turned more of a blue color than green. I think just like with SPS dependant on what type of lighting you keep it under will determine how the mantle will look.

Thank You Chris, this squamosa is coloring up, especially in the middle of the rings are more blue. I have him on the sand bed, it seems to be happy right where I placed him. I have a 250wt 10K PFOMH, and 3 75wt VHO's...1-50/50...the other 2 are 03 atinics.

Nice Squamosa

Very nice clam it would have to be the smallest squamosa ive seen for ages they tend to be a larger clam when harvested i guess .
Keep postin on the progress.

Thank You, I guess the squamosa looks small. It's '3. I have had it for almost 3months.
