star fish question
hi. i just took in a star fish from a ex-salt tank user. i didnt ask what it ate and now cant remeber the name for what it is. i assume it is not an alge eater since it hides in my live rock all day. It is brown with long skinny legs(?) has several bristles on each leg and kind of resembles an octopus actually. i have noticed that it reaches out and take in the shimp pellets i drop in the take for crabs. Any idea what kind this is and if so what to feed it?

Sounds like a brittle star. They love meaty foods but will eat fish waste and just about anything else when they get hungry (including small fish if they can catch them).
