The reason i got into the hobby was from seeing my cousins tank, she had a pair of clownfish hosted by an anenome and that is what im trying to do in my tank. i have a white sebae anenome but he wont go in it .... are there any tricks????? thanks

most clownfish will not host a sebae anenomae. Also your tank is far too small for that fish load. A gobi, clownfish, and a anenomae you are just asking for trouble here. I would suggest looking to upgrade your tank as soon as possible, I'm thinking at least a 30 gallon tank. Plus anaenomaes do much better in established tanks than new ones, 1 year+. well not to be a downer, but that's just how it is today. Finals make people cranky.

Chances are the clown won't take to that anenome... Maybe take it back to the store or give it to someone with a big tank and bright lights... Does seem a bit much for that size tank... To do what your friend has, you will prolly need a larger tank, better lighting, and a more established tank. If you want something really cool, get a Tiger Pistol Shrimp and a Watchman Goby. They hang out like friends and have this symbiotic relationship. It's sweet to watch, lots of fun, and would work perfect in your size tank.

As general info...to make clowns pair up, mate, and take to an anenome, all you have to do is dim the lights, feed them oysters, and play some Barry White or Marvin Gaye.
