250W 20000k Radium Experiment - Again
Okay, so I am trying out the Radium again ... I didn't leave it on very long a while back, so am trying it out now that my tank is really basically starting over. So what better time than now? Here are some pictures so far. The left side has a 250W 20000k Radium and the right side has a 250W 10000k AB bulb.
Full tank ... see the bluer coloration on the left than the right (note that the bulb is not truly burned in yet, only been running about 8 hours total so far).  Here is the left side with the 20000k bulb ....  And the right side with the 10000k AB bulb ... you can see some of the blue on the left part of the picture.  And an isometric view from right (10000k) to left (20000k) ...  ------------------ MDM  |

Great Pictures!!!
Those should be used for people shopping and trying to figure out what bulbs to get... Quick question though, Are there any other bulbs "on" when those were taken, ant VHO, PC etc.... |

 I already had this Radium so am going to try a pair of these first. See how I like the look. Who knows, back to 10000k I may go in the near future ... I am so fickle  |

Hey Kevin, My AB 10K are due for replacement in Feb. I am once again faced with the what bulb do i buy dilema. I like the AB, but would like just a tad more blue. Do you have any pix of the Coral Vue next to an AB 10K?

No I don't have a picture. I sold them too quick. I will be ordering a case tomorrow though and when they come in I will post a picture.

I want just a touch more blue then I have now, and it sounds like the 15K is going to be just what the Dr ordered!!! |
