bubble trouble

hope everyone had a wonderful Xmas and a new year to come.

my CPR bakpak is putting bubbles like crazy into my tank. The sponge that came with it is in place, and i have tried to position it in every possible way. (the sponge is one year old, maybe it needs changing?)

usually after a water change, bubbles will reappear, but usually dissappears within a day. this time, it has already been 4 days. Any suggestions you guys can give me will be great.

i am also leaving for a long trip soon, in case this problem cannot be solved before then, will these bubbles cause trouble for the tank? larger air bubbles are accumulating under LR.

Hey Knutcracker

I believe CPR makes a bubble trap for this skimmer, and if memory serves me correctly it is an optional addon that doesnt come w/the skimmer. CPR also has a forum for help too heres the link
