I would say yes it is. But I cannot identify it either. Do any of your fish eat it? It reminds me of the stuff in Ninongs tank (at least in color).

It looks like algae to me as well,I don't think it looks like the one that Ninong has in his tank,however. His is growing real low and this one seem quite bushy to me.

Thats why I was hesitant to mention it, but then I remembered Ninong says Primus keeps his pretty well mowed down... I couild be something completely different other then color though.

I don't think it is turf like Ninong's, and it isn't the red algae like I have although the color is identicle. I would say your best bet is to remove the rock, place it in a bucket of saltwater and scrub it clean ASAP.

I appreciate all the help. But, I am giong to let it live until I have a reason to get rid of it. Since I only have a Green Open Brain and leather coral and this new stuff is not interfearing with it I will see what happens. Thanks again for the help!
