additive question

hello,has anyone else had this problem with SEACHEM reef calcium additive.....my water clouded up over night....this was the first time using this product i usually use KENT liquid calcium with no problems....is this common with this product,calc levels are at 390.......thanks

Which one did you use? Sea Chem has a few different Ca supplements. I added a Ca and Alk buffer once at the same time, and it turned my tank to MILK!!! (that was when I first started out) You didn't make the same mistake I did, did you?

hello,i didnt use both just REEF CALCIUM ............did a 15% water change this morning and its looking a little better,but if this product clouds the water i will go back to the KENT product.....

Hmm, I used that for about a year, never had an Issue with it. What other additives are you using?

Sometimes additives from competing manufacturers don't "get along".

Interesting. I had the same thing happen a couple of days ago with the same product. My water stayed cloudy for only a few hours though and was completely clear the next morning. No water change.
