2 part Ca/Alk Additive and dosing regimines
What type 2 part are you using? in conjuction w/ Kalk or Ca reactor? what size system? what do you keep your levels at? and finally how much do you dose, and how often?
On my 75g w/45g sump (i figured 100g water volume) Im dosing a little over 200ml of each part of Oceans Blend every morning And no it doesnt throw my PH off that much my total swing is 8.28 - 8.46 I dose it very slowly (manually though). I dont have a Ca Reac but am working on a simple Kalk reac in hopes that I wont have to go through so much 2part as I have been doing lately. I have been maintaining 440 Ca and 10DKH just curious what everyone elses dosing regimene is? Also I would love to hear pros and cons about dosers ...any1 using the cheapo hospital dosers for long time w/out any probs?

I'm not running a doser. Instead, I run a calcium reactor 24/7 and all my top off water goes through a Nilsen reactor. This keeps things pretty stable, as well as my pH in the upper 8.2. My ca is about 415 and Alk around 11 dKH. Every few months I have to add some additives to up the Ca or Alk. In those cases I use Kents turbo calc or Seachem reef builder. I find it much easier to do corrections using these products than ESV bionic.

I'm ULTRA simple, I dose 10mL of Mrs Wages pickiling Lime every other day dissolved in about 3 gallons of fresh water dripped in overnight. Ca 420 Alk 9dKh... I haven't noticed any MAJOR swing in pH usually 8.3-8.4..
