Too many hermits?
I am begining to wonder if I have too many blue legs. I have a 70 gallon tank and have 75+ blue leg hemits. I think they are multiplying. Could they be agravating my LPS'? Just curious

They can definitely aggrivate corals by continuously walking over them (which they have been known to do). Some people don't go with blue leg's at all due to their aggresive nature towards snails; you might consider removing some/all of them.

yup... Scott is right, I watched as about 6-8 blue legs, jumped on an overturned Astrea snail. I flipped the snail over and it was on its way, but how many other Astrea were killed at night?
I'd say get some Nassarious snails and Cerith snails instead. |
