Hi Guys,

Here are a couple of full shots of my tank. I am having a problem with bubbles from the sump, so the pics are not as good as the could be. I moved about a year and a half ago and upgraded to this tank, which is a 180. I had a 150 at my old house. I hate to say it, but the tank had been neglected until about a month ago. It was a real mess. I didnt do anything except keep up with evaporation. To make matters worse, I was using untreated well water. As I said, about a month ago, I decided to take back control of the tank. I added a downdraft skimmer, started doing weekly water changes using RO water and have spent a lot of time scrubbing rocks with a toothbrush. I still have next to zero corraline algae grow. I guess that is what happens when you dont dose the tank for a year. Please do not panic! I am now dosing with B-Ionic daily and will be buying a calcium reactor in the near future.

The tank is an 180 gal. Allglass reef ready tank w/ dual overflows. Lighting is a Hamiliton Technology light hood w/ 250x3 MH/165x2 actinics. I use a Myreefcreations MR-2 downdraft skimmer w/ MAK 4 pump. The acrylic sump is 30'x14"x16". The circulation sump is a Little Giant 4-MDQX-MC. I use four powerheads for additional circulation.
