I need a couple pointers on fragging a finger leather

I have 2 giant pink finger leathers "Sinularia". I told the guy at the LFS I would bring him some for hooking me up with a Hippo for $10. Ok, well my ole man is the guy who builds all his stands for his live stock tanks (not that that had anything to do with the super low price ) Anyway I am wanting to cut off a piece that is probably about the size of one of these mini basketballs, around 7-8" in diameter. I wanna say just use a new sharp razor blade and just make a clean cut and bag it. Does that sound good? Any suggestions?

I have some Limited expeirence with fraging Sinularia eg Devils hand.These are a very easy coral to propagate but can be a bit of pain to get them to take to new rock Using a sharp razor is a good option to break them up remember after making your cuts put your frags and your mother colony in a bucket of tank water so they dont excreet any toxin in your mother tank .I always add some iodine to this water to prevent infection and to promote healing . I have found that if i place another rock under my devils hand within 3 to 4 weeks it will attach and the colony spreads then i cut the coral that way i can frag it allready attached.Hope this helps .
