It is probably a generic version of Tahitian Blend: Tahitian Blend is a microalgae formula sold by BrineShrimpDirect in Utah. It consists of four Reed Mariculture microalgae species (Nannochloropsis, Isochrysis, Tetraselmis, and Pavlova) that are preserved in food grade glycerin (cryopreservative) and NatuRose astaxanthin for pigmentation. Tahitian Blend should be stored in a freezer and will remain an easy-to-use liquid.
Tahitian Blend can only be ordered from BrineShrimpDirect, not from Reed Mariculture. For more information about Tahitian Blend please CLICK HERE.
One of the LFS near me sells it in their own little bottles without any identification telling you that it's really Tahitian Blend, but that's what it is. They probably buy it in large sizes and then re-bottle it. I guess BrineShrimpDirect is aware of that but I really don't know. I do know from an employee at the LFS that they don't actually make it themselves, they buy it from BrineShrimpDirect.
Reed Mariculture in San Jose -- http://www.instant-algae.com/prices/index.htm -- supplies BrineShrimpDirect with the four species of phyto used in Tahitian Blend.
