I was feeding my fish today and decided to try my hand at the reflection shots
Here's the result As you can see the background fell off and you can see wires hanging out and I didn't feel like crawling behind the tank trying to stick it back on.

Gene, what is the coral in the fourth picture of your second set? That one is GORGEOUS!!!
I have a LFS looking for a Blue Tort for me, don't know how much luck I'll have with that, but he will trade me Xenia and GSP for it if he finds one... WOOO HOOO that would be SUPER COOL!!! |

You mean the green Acropora with blue growing tips? That would be A.pulchra which I managed to almost kill twice with my bulbs experiment It is bounced back nicely after I changed to the new Ushios. If you talking about the Acropora next to it,I have no clue as to what species it might be...I know one thing for sure that it is an Acropora I guess it could be A.valida but it is what it is,just a guess on my part. At one point I thought it could be A.cerealis becouse of the close resemblance of the corallite structure but the growth form and branch formation made me change my mind You had to ask... Good luck with the tort,it sounds like a cool deal if you can pull it off.

Come on spring...
I need some new frags as well ![]() Thanks guys! Kevin, I have another pic of this coral, the colors are all wrong but it shows the corallite structure better,I hope.Anoter pic shows the color more realistically and also shows axial and radial corallites(which forms sort of rosette in my opinion).
