Whats the best way to stick live rock together?
I am just wondering if it is best to use silicon, or two part epoxy.I have used the two part epoxy before but after about two weeks when i move something the epoxy seems to break off one of the surfaces. Ihave used the Aqua Medic stuff. Would silicon work? Andrew |

Don't use uncured Silicon in your tank. I guess the most secure way to hold rock together is to drill holes in it, and use acrylic rod or "sticks" like a dowel pin in furniture. Usually I just stack the rock and try to make the pieces fit together best I can...

I use heavy fishing line and cable ties to tie my rocks together. It does not have to be rigid. Just need to stay together well enough so I can use it in aquascape. It works great.
