Clown disease or natural markings?
I have a Clarkii clown that I've had in my tank for about 3 weeks. I didn't get a really CLOSE look at him in the LFS, because another person behind me wanted him too. Anyway, the fish hid in my tank for about 4 or 5 days before coming out and hosting my sebae. It was then I noticed some dark splotches all over his body....fins, sides, head...pretty much everywhere. Not on his white stripes or his tail though. It would look like Ich if it was white and a little smaller...this is a brownish-black blemish, and they are about the size of the end of a ballpoint pen, about ~40 of them all over. Is this a natural marking for a Clarkii, or some sort of disease? If so, what is it, and how can it be cured? I have a hunch that they are spots from becoming immune to the anemone....but I'm not sure. If you have pictures, I could confirm and what not. Sorry, I don't have a digital camera. Thanks!!!
