Question Fibers In Water?

HAS ANYONE SEEN THIS OR KNOW IF IS IS A PROBLEM...?

I noticed today that there are hundreds of little fibers every where in the water. They look like fiberglass particles, from a few mm to and inch long...

My tank is about 3 months old, and have good water quality from my tests.
I have changed my filter media last weekend and added a few ml of KENT Pro.Buffer dKH with my makup water 2days ago.. Could this be the cause...?
Ive been though brown algae and some green starting to show...?

Does any one have any suggestions,
or is more info needed??

Thanks agian...

I have noticed the exact same fibres in my new system. I'm wondering if they're not some kind of worm. It may be my imagination but they seem to wrigle about some as they are moving through the water column. My system is fairly young...heading out of the diatom phase and trying to get the sand beds up to full potential.
My system is as follows:
120G tank Oceanic RR( 48x24x24)
Geisemann 260 moonlight fixture
2-3/4" sea swirls pushed by an Iwaki MD55
2 maxi jet 600's on red sea wave maker

!00G tank Ocea manu.RR ( 48x24x20)
DIY hood w/ 2x175 10K Ushio
2 48" VHO actnic
2 maxi jet 600's
2 3/4" sea swirls w/ Iwaki md30

50G Cube- refugium
175W Coralife pendant w/ 6500K MH
This tank is split off an Iwaki md 40, the other flow goes to my chiller

All of these tanks are tied into a common sump

ETSS 600 skimmer- Iwaki MD40
MRC Nielsen reactor
MRC 600 dual calcium reactor

When I have time to learn how I'll post some pictures.
