Puffer in Reef Tank
Hey , i just got a puffer for my tank, some sort of toby cant remember its full name. Anyway, i got a piece of tree coral in there and hes been eating it, which it doesnt really bother me cause i got it from work for free.
I was just wondering if it will eat things like Discs and Anemone or anything like that? Other than eating my tree coral hes been pecking at all of the liverock and been quite happy, hasnt really hassled any of my fish. Thanks, Juvv |

Puffers are not what people would call "reef safe". They will eat any crustacean or garstropod they can catch and I wouldn't put it past them to snack on a coral now and then. They will also eat your coepods and worms I personally would never have one in a reef tank and would only keep it in a fish only. I don't think it will bother your fish though.
