closing anemone

When my light is off, my anemone is quite open, not to its full extent yet, but about half way, but as soon as i turn on my lights, it shrinks again..
anyone have any suggestions?

What type of anemone and what kind of lighting do you have? How new is your animal and a bit more info about your tank would be helpfull as well before we can ascertain what the problem might be.

Its some sort of bubble tip.

Its in a 2ft standard with twin lights.

one daylight tube , i think its 10k with reflector

Im using an aquaclear 300 for filtration, + liverock

Its been in there for about 6 days so far. i know its not long but i just think it wouldve settled in by now. My other anemone settled in after a day!
