Aquarium tips please

im planning to set up a new 35 gal saltwater tank. but im only planning to make it a FOWLR tank. now heres my problem. my room has a 2nd floor and since my 1st floor already has 2 aqariums i have no place else 2 put it but upstairs. now the problem with my 2nd floor is that it gets really hot there and the cold air from the a/c pretty much doest reach there.... is that still ok? well i cant really afford a chiller at the moment... can anyone give me tips or advice? tahnks.

I think you should be OK if it's only a FOWLR tank by using fluorescent bulbs and perhaps utilising some sort of clip-on fans to blow accross the water surface on the hot days. If you will be using a sump then those fans could be used there as well. Plus, getting a good size room fan to move air around can help as well. Just a thought on my part

This scenario sounds familiar, I am running out of room in our house. After setting up 4 tanks (200, 90, 40, 12) my wife said NO MORE!

We just got through setting up a FOWLR tank and using the T-5 as they are cheap as well as cheap to run. Hardly any heat at all.

As if I needed another tank to take care of.
