make sure you wait till your levels are ok, then I think it'll be fine. I would drip acclimate them just to prevent stress. test your water the next few days to make sure your bacteria is keeping up with the bio-load. As long as your ammonia and nitrite levels are stable, i dont think you'll have a problem. and about that MH fixture, if I end up buying it, its more than likely I'll end up saving it for a small reef tank. i've read that you've decided on a DE MH fixture from marine depot, so it sounds like you're gonna be reefing. excellent, good luck

I just meant to put them in like a tupperware container or bag with water from your 10gal., a bag would be nice to float them in the 30,. what I do is take some water from the new main tank and slowly add it to the bag, let it sit for like 10-15mins, take some water out of the bag, just a bit, and add some more tank water. do this at least three times, 30-45mins. I dont put the bag water in my tank, i slowly pour them through a net over a bucket. It may not be the only way, but it does prevent shock; instead of netting them in the old tank and dumping into the new tank. hope it helps, but there are probly other ways, i dont do the siphon thing. be sure to test your water in both tanks to be sure, it couldnt hurt.
