can anyone give me some info on how to make a siphon dripper so i can drip acclimate my fish into my new 30gal tank, or if there is any easier way of doing this besided just adding cups of water into a bucket every 5 minutes for 20 mins, then please let me know, thanks

For fish that add water every 10-15 minutes works fine. Drip acclimating is more for Starfish Snails and Shrimp. Though you wouldn't hurt anything by drip acclimating your fish.

Here is my ULTRA cheap setup. 6 ft of airlline, start siphon from main display tank to bucket with fish. Tie KNOT in airline, tighten as needed. Let drip till water volume is DOUBLE what you started with, remove 50% then let it double again. Add new specimen to tank.

Total cost? $1.50.

Get a rigid air tube and 6-8 feet of flex air tube, and an air valve. Use a little heat (flame, stove, match, lighter etc) and heat the rigid tube until it soften, bend it and then put it under the water to harden it. Do this at two places and you should have a U shape tube. Attach the flex air tube and the air valve. Use the air valve to control the flow rate. I always have several on hand to drip animals in. Easy and very cheap.
Let me know if you need a picture.
