live rock tranfer

can i add live rock from my 10gal straight to my 30gal without rinsing it off or acclimating or anything?

oh, i have my 2 clowns in the 30gal already. will it be safe, or will the tank go through a mini cycle?

You can switch fully cured live rock from one tank to another at any time. It is always helpful if the water parameters are somewhat similar so that you do not lose any delicate lifeforms that may be on the live rock.

I assume this means that you have determined that your clownfish do not have ich or any other parasitic infection as you thought yesterday?

Good luck,

yea i noticed a small white spot on one of the clowns yesterday, and i checked again today and it was gone, so i decided they did not have ICH, and i tranfered them into the 30gal, and they seem very active, and swimming around the whole tank, and i put them in only 4 hours ago, and they have eaten and everything, i guess this means everything is the way it should be. im going to add the live rock now, thanks ninong!

Maybe it was just some sand then... I'd still keep an eye in them, and keep that 10 gallon handy in case you need to treat them.
