Anyone seen one of these

Some kind of Nudibranch. Found several of these under some of my live rock. They seem to like to stay in the dark. Have never seen them in the tank during the day. They may come out at night. Will have to check on it. Corals are all doing great so I haven't seen a sign they are feeding on them. Maybe they eat detrius (at least I hope)

WEIRD!! I've never seen those before. Hopefully they are harmless, I know Ninong and Zhenya have some great links to all things strange, hopefully they will post the link. If not I have it at home and I'll post it today... Maybe you can do a search on Google under Orange Nudibranch.

Im not sure if it is a sea slug, could be one of large Polyclad flatworms(wich are all predatory, btw). Here's a link to a slug forum, however, browse that if you think it is a slug.

Thanks for the reply zhenya. Yea I found that sea slug forum yesterday and sent them a pic. They identified it as Tritoniopsis elegans. It feeds on Soft Coral (great since that is what I have). It apparently is a common hitchhiker on soft corals, but the egg strings they have laid should not survive in my aquarium once they hatch. They seemed too be concentrated around one soft coral which was in serious decline. I'm sure it is the coral they came in on. I went in and removed 7 of the slugs around it so here's hoping things will improve

Thanks for posting that ID on the slug, JWW. Sorry to hear they been munching on your soft coral Try to stay on top of them and remove as many as you can, even if it means staying up late

I hope things improve for you soon!
