Anyone know if a MR1 skimmer with a Mag 12 would fit in this nice little DIY sump?

First , let me preface this by saying I don't have an MR1 skimmer, or a Mag-12 pump, so the conclusions are purely math based

MR1 skimmer (according to their web page) measures as follows :

9 long, 5.5 deep and 8" high. Total height 22.5" (you may need more to remove/replace the cup).

Looking at the picture there is a 1 1/4" gate valve for the input, so probably 3 or 4 inches between the pump and the base of the unit. You then need the pump, a MAG-12 would measure 6.5" x 4.5" x 4.5", so youd need 6.5" + 4" + 5.5", or 16". You'd probably either need to be using an 24x18xSomething tank, or design your baffles so that they ran longways rather than width ways.
